New masks regulations met with mixed reactions

For the past two years, it’s been illegal to go in public or private spaces without a mask on. However, this has now changed. President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that members of the public do not have to wear masks outdoors and in open spaces. While some scientists have criticised this decision, saying it will increase infections, others have welcomed it.
